Striped wallpaper fabrics and papers have long been used to provide simple and refined patterns and elegant and effortless color combinations in grandiose or modest interiors. In the Georgian and Regency time, these scratches with generous proportions were used more frequently in large rooms, among the bright colors and strong patterns. In contemporary interior decoration, large stripes are always used to balance the patterns, but they are easier to use due to the more attenuated and more coordinated color palette in which they are now available.
