Wallpaper Nip & Lassie LITTLE GREENE

The dogs of this motif are the portraits scribbled by Beatrix Potter of his border well-liked collies, work companions, Nip and Lassie. The original sketches are tiny but are effortlessly translated into a light wallpaper pattern, in which the accompanying sheep have been flocked to bring an additional texture to the surface. Beatrix was known for his dedication to agriculture, and in particular for his awarded herdwick sheep herd. This breed is synonymous with the Lake District that she loved so much, and of which she bequeathed some 4,000 acres to the National Trust after her death in 1943.
