"Pétrichor" was born from a walk in the Entre deux mers, at the very beginning of autumn. Without a discernible horizon line, it tends to move away from the classic landscape to seek the notion of motif: up close, the very free touch is almost abstract, and it is only as a whole that the eye reconstructs the subject: the ray of light on the flowers and the scintillation of the backlight in the depths of the woods.
