To bring these paintings by Christophe Huet back to life, Le Grand Siècle had a photoshoot carried out at the Château de Champs-sur-Marne in order to photograph all the woodwork in perfect definition. Once digitized, we patiently restored them to restore their full brilliance. The grain of the wood, traces of paint, and the passage of time are highlighted by the use of gold: a way of highlighting the ancient, pictorial, and precious character. This gold leaf wallpaper is entirely handmade. For its printing, a white backing is applied before the colours are printed, which gives the patterns a wonderful lacquered effect. Fragile, this wallpaper requires professional installation.
